Secure Cloud Computing

As the world starts to adopt and embrace Cloud Computing models a range of security and privacy hurdles need to be addressed to ensure that our information is properly protected. We have been working with some of the Australian Government early adopters of Cloud Services and their providers to ensure that they safeguard our information.

We provided independent assessment of the compliance and security posture of the Department of Industry’s Grants Management systems. These systems are being delivered as a type of Software As A Service (SAAS) cloud capability. The providers have been working cooperatively to ensure compliance with Australian Government security and privacy requirements. The security model is robust, demonstrates compliance, and is extensible to other clients and service providers. Watch this space for more developments.
